Terms of Service

By accessing and using Tera, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use the service.

Tera is a productivity and life planning application that helps you organize goals, tasks, habits, and workspace collaboration. Tera includes an AI Coach feature that provides suggestions and analysis based on your productivity data.

Important: AI Coach responses are suggestions and suggestions only. They are not professional advice, medical advice, financial advice, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for your decisions and actions based on AI Coach output.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or misuse.
• The accuracy and legality of content you create within Tera.

You agree not to:

• Use Tera for illegal activities or in violation of any laws.
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Attempt to access unauthorized areas or disable security measures.
• Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code.
• Reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code.
• Use Tera for commercial purposes without permission.
• Scrape or automate data collection beyond normal app usage.

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, as selected). You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically for your subscription until you cancel.

Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months unless otherwise specified by applicable law.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Card details are not stored by Tera.

Some features are limited on free accounts (e.g., maximum number of tasks). Upgrading to a paid plan unlocks full access. Access to features may change over time. We provide reasonable notice for significant changes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tera is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities.
• Service interruptions or outages.
• Third-party actions or content.
• Decisions or actions taken based on AI Coach suggestions.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in illegal activity, or violate user conduct policies.

You may delete your account at any time by submitting a request to contact@teratasks.com.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data. Some data may be retained for legal, compliance, fraud prevention, or tax purposes as required by law.

Tera integrates with third-party services including:

• Stripe: for payment processing and billing.
• OpenAI: for AI Coach responses.

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.

Tera and its content are owned or licensed by Tera. You retain ownership of content you create (goals, tasks, notes). You grant Tera a license to store, process, and analyze your content to provide the service, including AI analysis.

We may update these Terms of Service. Significant changes will be communicated to you. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or court proceedings as permitted by law.
